THANK YOU!!
To everyone who made this year's fair a success. We will be looking forward to seeing you at the next committee meeting with suggestions for next years fair.

The Purpose of the Shiprock Northern Navajo Junior Livestock and Indoor Exhibits is to provide an opportunity for Shiprock Agency and Navajo Reservation 4-H and FFA members to exhibit the products of their projects before the public within this four day event. Participants range in age from 9 to 19 years. In doing these projects, this promotes and provides the incentive for achieving excellence in livestock production skills, practices and home economics. Such achievement and participation in shows encourages sportsmanship, leadership, citizenship and responsibility in the members.

Those in the Junior Livestock division must have owned their animals for at least 90 days prior to the show. Seven different species of farm livestock are on exhibit; beef cattle, sheep, swine, goats, horses, rabbits and poultry. In addition to the show, the Jr Livestock Committee offers the Jr Livestock Sale to make the superior products produced in 4-H & FFA livestock projects available to the public. Participants in the Indoor Exhibits have been working on projects all summer to prepare for this show. Projects include; Club Records, Fiber Crafts, Food & Nutrition, Horticulture, Native Foods and Presentations.
